topic Billing in Account & Billing

Our first full sky bill has come in and is around £70 more than we were expecting. On the bill it looks like we are being charged the monthly amount for each part of the subscription, plus 20 days (we've had Sky installed for 20 days up to the billing date). If you pay an upfront fee of £20, why are being charged more than expected? We have no added anything or bought any add on.

@LaurenPalmer
If you’re a new customer your first couple of bills are usually higher, basically due to the dates they cover (more than the usual number of days). In effect you’ll be charged from the date of the activation up until the end of that billed month, and for the next month in advance. Check your future bills to see if they reflect the amount you were expecting.

Initial bills will be larger than the quoted monthly amount - simply because they cover a period longer than a month.

We can't see your bills but check the date ranges - you also have to pay the month in advance.

Are future bills at the expected level?
