bankruptcy help

Hi guys.

I was made redundant in June due to long term ill health and filed for bankruptcy in July. I was wondering if the remaining 12 months of payments I make towards the sky glass TV unit could be wiped off with the bankruptcy, since its an outstanding debt? (removed)

Sorry, i'd forgot to mention the Sky employee couldn't answer my question nor could he put me through to anybody of relevance.

@LukePea I cannot stress strongly enough that you need to take expertadvice on any issues around bankruptcy. Step Change and Citizens Advice will give you free advice if you contact them. Any unsecured debt such as the credit agreement for purchase of a Glass TV will normally be covered.

@LukePea What has the company dealing with your bankruptcy said, as far as I'm aware all credit accounts would be included in it, you would be best speaking to the people dealing with your bankruptcy as they will be specialists in that area.

Im my limited knowledge of this, and As others have said, the person (receiver) handling the bankruptcy would usually liaise with creditors, on your behalf.

You'd think so mate but companies have made this way more difficult than it should have been. The only company the insolvency contacted on my behalf was the bank and i believe that was more of an example of what I had to do.

@LukePea If the company handling it aren't doing the job correctly I would speak to the organisations mentioned by @Chrisee and explain this to them as sky can't help unless it's done via the proper channels

@LukePea it is important you do this correctly as other wise you can be in trouble with the court and your bankruotcy wont be discharged.. Get independent advice urgently.

I appreciate everybodies opinion on the matter but im here more for an answer than an opinion, namely from a sky representive. I've dealt with other companies fine about the insolvency but skys refusal to have a decent team is making life very difficult.
