Paying extra to sky mobile.

Hello I'm a tad confused. I'm trying to pay extra too my sky mobile bill so I my monthly bill ends quicker. I went into mysky.com and clicked on sky mobile. I then clicked make a payment (this wasn't to a specific credit agreement) I paid £150 extra to my whole sky mobile bill.
on my bill it shows £150 is credited to account however. When I look at future bills all device plans remain the same month to finish as it was prior to me making the £150 extra payment. So all plans that were due to finish on the date remains the same even though I have paid extra. Can you explain how this works please? Thankyou

Making a payment like this just adds a credit to your account as you have found so while the £150 credit will be used to pay your next bill it doesn't reduce your credit agreements so they will still finish on the same date that they were scheduled to do.

As it appears as a credit then it can be refunded to you, to make a payment against a device you will need to call Sky so give them a call on 150 about this. Again as I said making these extra payments does not shorten the contract length, it just reduces what you owe on them.
