I am so sick of these calls. I now challenge them when they say they're from 'Sky Network', even telling them to get rid of my number, but still they try. I've blocked all the numbers they've called on, but their supply of different ones seems to be endless.

I keep getting phone calls from some one with an asian accent , purporting to be from Sky Network .

They want to offer a sizeable discount on our annual Sky account and would like my email address to authenticate who I am . I refused to give them that detail , saying that Sky already have my email address , they then reply that there will be no discount till I give them my email address .

I assume this is a scam .

One of a few currently doing the rounds. They wouldn't need your email address. They would ask you for your telephone password. It's worth giving an incorrect one. If it's a genuine call Sky will know it's not correct.

Yes. Should they be given access to your account the scammers will then purchase high cost devices - usually iPhones & once received will then call again to claim these were sent in error & that they'll send a courier to collect the devices. Should a customer do this then they'd quite possibly be liable for the cost.

I've just had one saying they will drop my bill and mentioned broadband and mobile as well as sky package

considering I don't have sky broadband or mobile it was obviously a scam

snd that when I told them they are just scamming illegitimates and to go forth and multiply

I might have used other words 😂

I have at least three a week. Pointless asking to speak to a supervisor, they just hang up. Different number every time. I keep blocking the fake numbers but its pointless.

It'll never stop until it becomes unprofitable for the scammers & as long as people fall for the scam then it's always profitable.
