If you want Sky to do it you'll need to call them. They will charge around £65. I doubt it'll be before Christmas though. A local independent company might be quicker but get a quote first.

The box may work for apps for a while but will stop working eventually until the signal is restored.

Thanks for the reply it's my housing association put new roof on put my dish on scaffolding said they would put it back but never phoned housing said they would put it through as an emergency repair not holding my breath I've now booked an independent repair as sky cant come out till after chrismas and as you say will charge me will see how much this other company charge as they are comming out tomorrow was thing just let them do it then claim it back from housing?

@Ev61 that's something only you can answer but I would definitely check you can claim the money back before allowing the work to be done
