Checking this number is sky number

I was rang twice by this number by 0800 number I was unsure if this sky number or not I did pick up once for them but really wasn't sure if was sky if was could give me a call back

@Andrew240 No one from Sky can call you back in response to a community post from an unlinked account, no one here knows who you are or your contact details.

Posting "0800 number" isn't much to give the community to go on so no one can say of it was Sky or not.

Sky do make outgoing calls from an 0800 number, but like any number it can be spoofed.

When you asked, did they ask you for your telephone password, if they did the trick is to give them the wrong one because if it was from Sky they would tell you that it was wrong.

If it's the number here, it might be. But beware scammers can spoof the number to make it look genuine.
