Please can anyone tell me if I can get Sky TV without a dish and box?

@Smittymagic1986 The only way to get Sky without a dish or box is via Sky glass, this is a smart TV with Sky built-in https://www.sky.com/glass

The only other way to get Sky without a dish is Sky Stream but that requires a box.

With Sky Stream will I still have a box and a dish. ?

I have my own TV so Sky glass is out the picture

There is no requirement for a dish as Stream provides TV via the internet. The 'box' is called a puck and is much smaller than a Sky Q box. You need to research Stream thoroughly as it's a totally different viewing method.

@Smittymagic1986 Sky Stream is different to normal Sky as the channel line up isn't the same, you cannot record and the service is entirely reliant on an Internet connection.

Have a look on the Sky website for full information and to see if you think it's suitable.

Sky Stream has been around for over three years (and a standalone product for more than two) so you'll find multiple reviews of it online, including video demonstrations.

We are trying to get rid of the actual physical box as we have a baby who has started crawling and touching things so have to move the TV on to the wall so thought we could get rid of the box and the wires.

Is sky stream better then? What is a puck then?

@Smittymagic1986 If you don't want a box of any kind then the only options are Sky Glass or NowTV, both have flaws though so you need to look at what they offer for the price and see if any are suitable, i've been a NowTV customer for years purely because its a no contract service that offers Sky Atlantic but it is very limited when it comes to channel line up.

I watch loads of live sports. I want to get rid of the box ideally as it looks messy and it's in the way. No box to me is better

Many smart TV's have the NowTV app built-in. Otherwise, simply add one of the many 'stick' options that support it, e.g. FireStick.
