There is a cooling off period but billing still continues as normal as you don't get a month free to make up your mind. Onece you have cancelled and the equipment returned then within 6 weeks or so you should be refunded.

I was offered Sky Stream and Sky Tv + Netflix package but decided to cancel after only 3 days. I thought there was a cooling off period and there wouldn't be anything to pay but Sky are making me pay for a full month....is this right?

Why doesn't Sky disconnect my Sky Stream and TV Package when after 3 I've told them I don't want it anymore. They have told me that I will stop receiving on the 23/11/2024 and have charged me up to that date. Supposed to be no charges if cancelled within cooling off period. Or are they just meaning no cancellation charges but charges for the time you have the package ie. A month. If you cancel after just 3 days and there was supposed to be charges it should be just for those 3 days.

I signed up 3 weeks ago for Sky broadband and was told that there was a 14 day cooling off period, but that the cooling off period didn't come into force until my equipment had been installed. I am starting to think that I have been misinformed, for unscrupulous reasons.

I had no immediate intention to cancel, but this is not a great start to my expeience with Sky if the information I was given is deemed to be untrue.

I was simply looking into the option of a potential upgrade to a TV and broadband package when I discovered the discrepancy.

I will be contacting them tomorrow to try and secure some clarification on the issue.
