Reduced bill for 84yr old

Hello, I am trying to get my mother-in-laws broadband cost reduced, she doesn't have or use any computers, tablets, emails, If you check her broadband usage you will see it's not used apart from the TV, which she doesn't stream or download, can you possibly bring her bill down, I don't want to move her to the nasty one but may be left with little choice

You aren’t contacting Sky by posting on here. We are mainly customers trying to help other customers.

What does your m-I-l use the internet for? Is the subscription solely for the Sky Talk landline and if so is she on an appropriate tariff?

No terrestrial ISP bills on data volume consumption these days: the only variable is speed delivered to the address.

Thanks for the replies, I just can't believe an 84yr old has to loose £60 a month from her pension to watch old films. Looks like she's going to virgin for 12 months then, damm, I despise that company with a passion...

I think minimum term with VM is 18 months.

Can you detail what her requirement is as you said she doesn't stream or download - what's the broadband for?

£60 would be extremely high for just broadband, but more or less average for broadband and subscription television through Sky.

Yes thought it was 18 months after I posted. She's got the basics TV package, landline, that's it. Well, as a politician said about a decade ago, "wealth is good" translates to Greed is good...

Then that's probably television plus broadband at about £30 each, which isn't unusual (particularly at 'out of contract' list prices)
