30 years with sky

Hi can someone tell me , my wife was called a man a number of times bye a sky person, my wife said a number of times I'm a woman, the answer was well you sound like a man . We want a written apology bye that person, 2 years later still waiting. We cancelled our package owing £125 they ate hounds us , am I right not paying

as for not paying I'm afraid your wrong in not paying as doing so has put you in breach of contract and sky can use all legal means open to them to recover the debt

Whilst the agent shouldn't have spoken like that…No. You need to pay what you owe. If not Sky will pass the debt to a debt recovery company and that would affect your credit score.,

@Elvis1963 Oh and by the way no company will make the adviser write to a customer personally to apologise if they did that would put them in breach of various employment laws.

If Sky have already apologised then that is the end of it, even if you raise a complaint you still won't get the adviser to apologise personally. Certainly after 2 years expecting such an apology is wishful thinking.

And as advised on other posts cancelling payments put you in breach of your contract so Sky have every right to persue you for the debt.

Cancelling payment is not the way to engage with any copany.

So iv been with sky 30 years never missed a single payment, we had a problem with our TV and broad band , we complained a number of times , My wife was called a man a number of times by the rude sky technician, I took the phone and said she is a woman not a man , he replied well she sounds like a man , 2 years later still waiting for an apology, we cancelled our package of £123 a month, then we were told no early termination charge , but they now have applied it , , I think that Sky are the biggest money grabbers iv come across, I'm now going to put this on social media and take them to court

Were you in the minimum term of a contract because if so Sky are within their rights to apply the charge.

I might suggest that court cases can go both ways, and multi-billion dollar corporations tend to be able to afford very good lawyers.
