Joining Sky from Virgin

Hi ,

I have joined sky from Virgin but Virgin weren't told properly and I have had to pay another bill.

Virgin won't refund and sky won't credit it. I was out of contract with virgin but they have the wrong disconnection date so charged me for another month.

How can get the money back. I had to pay to stop recovery action.

What exactly have Sky said? Did you receive any correspondence from Virgin acknowledging that you were considering switching to Sky?

The sky switching team have asked for early exit charge proof which I don't have as I was out of contract. Can only email the switching team and get the same reply back.

Virgin knew as they offered me a lower price go stay but I said it was too late.

That is correct as you can only apply for switching credit if you have been charged an early termination fee which you haven't. The fact the chageover didn't go right does not come into it I'm afraid.
