Having re negotiated my sky bb to 1g to £40 pp fopr 24 months . I was told by the rep that the BB boost charge would be removed as he was struggling to get the renewal to activate on his system. Just opened my email today and im being told i have an termination charge of £134 . It reads. We recently wrote to inform you that as you had cancelled your subscription within the minimum term, you needed to reactivate your service. As you've not contacted us to reactivate your service, the following early termination charges have been applied to your account:

You've agreed to subscribe to your chosen service for the minimum term as shown above. The early termination charge is calculated on the basis of the subscription payments you would have made for our cheapest available option for the remainder of your minimum term - less any costs we save, including the cost of no longer providing you with the service.

Im abouty to ring Sky toady to sort this out. Im hopeful sky record all the calls as the rep gaurenteed he would remove this charge few days after i agreed the re contract .. Really hope this is an oversight and not something more sinister .
