TV Essentials tripled in price

As of last month (September) our TV essentials package has increased to £15 per month from £5! There's been no notification of an increase. Has this happened to anyone else and how have you sorted this please?

@MatthewY Could minimum term discounts have expired, you don't currently get notifications regarding this

List price is £15 I believe, often discounted by £10 (to £5) - but this is only for a limited period which you were advised when taking it?

If so, you'll need to call Sky to see if they'll agree another discount but don't have to.

Did your future bills, available 3 months in advance, not show the increase?

@MatthewY as @PandJ2020 the standard price for essentials is £15 so looks like discount has ended contact Sky and see if they can re-contract at £5 again worth a try surely

Historically Sky was offering Essentials for £5 during the pandemic to retain contact with users who would otherwise have cancelled entirely: they aren't obliged to do so.
