&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately these scammers are very active. There's very little Sky can do to stop them or minimise the risk to customers but see this fairly old post from Sky&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;had a call today from Sky ( NOT) asking me to change my password to welcome1 for a 40% discount on my mobile billing. Sky has never asked me for my password and certainly not to change it for 24 hours to get a 40% discount . I traced the number and it has been reported 709 time for scamms.&lt;/P&gt;
