You are not emaing Sky by posting here as this is a customer helps customer forum.

Having said that we might be able to help if you can let us know how you joined Sky, so did you sign up at Sky.com or via a comparison website ?

Then you would need to enquire with them about this, perhaps go back to the website to see what it says as this isn't a Sky run promotion as it is something the comparison site is doing.
