&lt;P&gt;It's worth pointing out that Sky subscriptions are rarely 'fixed' and you'll be subject to two annual price reviews (normally increases) which are normally in April.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you’re a new customer your first couple of bills are usually higher, basically due to the dates they cover (more than the usual number of days). In effect you’ll be charged from the date of the activation up until the end of that billed month, and for the next month in advance. Check your future bills to see if they reflect the amount you were expecting.       <title>Broadband contract £15pm  payments taken  £41pm</title>

      <description>I have started a new contract in August 2024 for broadband at £15 a month fixed for 24 months. However my first and subsequent payments taken have been taken at £41. I have made 4 phone calls to get the matter sorted and still no response apart from being told it was a system error. Apparently a manager has to sort it, but they cannot find the deal. How can I get this resolved, grateful for any advice.</description>

&lt;P&gt;It would be essentially impossible for an Openreach ISP not to make a loss supplying any form of broadband at £15 a month.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Even the social tariff rate is £20 pcm.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
