Can't change skyid email address

I need to change my sky ID email address as the current one is my email address and I need to change it to another one but it keeps saying "your email address could not be updated please try again later"

Do you want to change the email address that si used as your household address or is it used as the username part of the login ?

That doesn't really answer my question so I take it you don't use it to login with ?

Sky changed it to my email address so that my netflix account would work through sky but now I need it removing and another one using to replace it

As you did before you will need to call Sky and ask to speak to their ID team, I would suggest waiting until Monday now as they might not be available this time of day on a Saturday.
