Hi,

I would like to know what the initial £5 charge was for when I first ordered the broadband. Wasn't it included in the first month's fee?

It's effectively a £5 deposit from your first months fee. The rest of the first month will be taken in the middle of the first month but the £5 is first paid when you sign up and they send out the router to you. For example, we signed up in May and paid the £5 then. Our internet then started on the 26th June and we are paying the second half of the first month's payment on the 11th July, halfway through our first month of internet with them.
