Sky Broadband charge increase ?

Sky contacted to say my 'Broadband, tv and talk' etc is increasing from £70 to £118 discounted in Aug 2024.

Is this a Joke ???

My current contract for TV, Broadband and Talk expires in Nov 2024.

Checked my 'future bills' with no change from today till Sept/Oct.

The phone call was from Sky but an overseas person was adermant we were wrong and she was right, yet no change can be seen online.

But while during the call, I asked for a reduction for one of my sims. transferred to Mobile dealing with a UK person and managed a 25% reduction for 3 sims.

So was this overseas person trying to make some commision ?

If I remember correctly I had nonsense notifications when the price increase hit me earlier this year, your online account will update later on if true.
