topic Remote Control behaving strangely in Sky Q

I'm seeing some strange behaviours on an ethernet connected Sky Q Mini.

Sometimes the box won't respond to commands from the remote control, particularly noticeable with pause. The obvious conclusion to come to is that the box didn't receive the command. However, in some circumstances when the box does respond to a subsequent command, it will respond to both, e.g. you press pause while the TV is playing, and nothing happens, you press pause again and the TV will pause briefly, and then restart. It's almost as if the first command is being held in a buffer and not being acted upon until the second command arrives.

I've reset the Sky Q Mini, and also performed a software download. I've also re-paried the original remote control, and also replaced the remote control with a brand new one. It still exhibits the problem.

Is this behaviour something that other people have seen? Is it a common bug, or have I got a Sky Q Mini that is glitching out because it is reaching end of life?
