From startup - blue light remains glowing

So at 5.45am the main box comes up with the blue glowing Q light.

At 6.10am the blue light is still glowing yet the box is running fine.

Any ideas why this would occur?

It is set to Eco and has been for several years.

Never seen this issue before - but the box as switched itself on (and the tv) 2-3 times over the years. The wakereason then was that somebody has pressed the panel button.

I'll let you know if it does it again.

It could be updating the firmware which depending on broadband speed can take some time. If it's happening every morning then I would try manually updating, if the problem still remains & turn off the box & unplug from the power socket & wait a few minutes then plug back in again.

It is nothing to do with the firmware updating. The light did not returned after a reboot - except when it should.
