Sky Q box keeps freezing.

Iv had my sky Q box for about 10 years. In the last few months it occasionally freezes, usually on sky channels but also when watching recordings none of the buttons on the remote respond. I usually have to unplug and restart to get it working again. I have tried updating the software but it just happens again. Do the Sky Q boxes have a limited lifetime
