Selected a football match on sky sports + how do you select a full tv screen what button do I press

I don't think you have Sky+ (where you've posted).

Sky+ customers cannot receive red button sport. Customers with Sky+ (with the full sports subscription) will only receive the Sky Sports+ Channel (channel 404), but will not have access to the live streams of any other games on simultaneously as Sky+ is not compatible.

Do you have Sky Q?

Must be sky Q I have definitely got red button I chose the game then unable to select to watch it with the whole screen thanks

If you have the side bar showing whilst watching red button content just press the dismiss button a couple of times on the handset and the full screen will be displayed.

It's to the left of the home button in the middle of the remote, the icon is like a square with an arrow pointing out.

I believe that if you go into the feed directly via the Apps section (rather than going via a channel's red button) then you don't get the sidebar.
