Changing your TV shouldn't affect broadband where you have posted

Do you have Sky+HD, Sky Q or Sky Stream?

Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI port on the back of the Q box to an HDMI port on the back of your TV.

Use your TV's remote control (not the Sky remote) to select the appropriate HDMI input source. You should now be able to see the output of the Sky Q box and continue to set it up if you have just replaced it.

If you don't see any output from the Q box, turn it off at the wall for a minute then power it back on and allow it to restart.

The connection between a main Q box and a television set is typically an HDMI cable going from the HDMI port on the Q box and HDMI #1 on the TV set.

What make of TV do you have? It's normally a button with a rectangle and and arrow pointing in to the centre of it from the left hand side. It'll say source or input on it.

As it is just after changing TV that they are having problem with, I doubt that the SKY remote is paired with it.

Thanks everyone tried to pair the remote that doesn't work But I keep getting a 'weak or no signal message for the hdmi's even though I've inserted and reinserted any thought? Cheers

hi @Morgan53

A weak signal message will be from the TV's own tuner & not a message from/via an HDMI input

With the SKy Q box switched on (green Led) try pressing the following keys on the SKY remote in sequence

Home 1 0 8 0 Home

Then use your TV's own remote again to try selecting the correct HDMI input

As @nigea99 indicates, that's referring to signal from an aerial, not an HDMI cable.

What make & model of TV do you have?

You are using the TV remote control to change input and NOT the Sky Q remote?

the problem? sky remote wasn't synced with the tv!!
