Sorry, I should have probably said that I've had both devices since 2023 and they've worked fine for over three years together in harmony. But have only started disconnecting in the last month or so. Hence I assumed software update issue.

I am having trouble with my Sky Q main box dropping out WiFi connection. Our broadband provider is Trooli and we have the 2Gbps package.

If I settings > network > reset and re type the ssid and password then it reconnects but drops approx 3-4 minutes later. Can be longer, can be sooner.

Rang Sky - they first sent out an engineer. He provided a booster. Same problem still remains.

rang sky again. They posted me a new 2tb box. Same problem remains.

Spoke to Trooli. We have split a guest network to isolate the sky connection just to that. At 2.4ghz, not 5ghz. Same problem remains.

what can I do now? Is it just Q360 software is making this happen?

is there a fix anyone has found?

it's infuriating!!

Why are you putting the ssid and password in if you have a Q booster? You should be treating the booster as if it's a Sky router, and using wps to connect.
