I have been sent a replacement sky box to solve a hard disk failure. For years before that no issue. I do have a high quality 5M Hdmi cable.

I convinced my self the new box was hanging because the HDMI circuits were less sensitive on the replacement box.I bought a Fibre Hdmi and it happens more often. I am powering off 3 or more times a day to watch Sky UHD. Sky diagnostics say the television is defective. None of the Four hdmi ports solve the problem. I can't seem to feed this back to Sky. Your post is the same symptoms.

Since the weekend my sky keeps freezing and says that there is a signal issue but when I unplug it and then back in it's fine for a few hours and then does the same again
