Skyq cable mini by wifi

I have my skyq and mini box currently connected by wifi and everything works.

I would like to connect the skyq directly to the router by cable but have the mini box connected over wifi, its a long distance away and very difficult to put in a cable connection.

Is this possible and if so how?

Hi @EileenS

If your mini is currently connected to your Q box by WiFi then it still should connect to the WiFi of the Q box that has an Ethernet connection.

On the main Q box first carry out a Network reset with the Ethernet connected.
Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Select connect wired to non Sky Router (or Sky router if on Sky Broadband). Do not carry out any WPS and just wait for the box to connect. It may take a couple of minutes. If it does not connect there is an issue with the Ethernet connection.
