Wrong information for charges

I was sent an email saying my trail period of sky cinema was ending and it would only cost £7 extra a month to stay but when I called up I was told it would be £14 why is there wrong information being given!!!!

Just guessing here, but the £7 offer may have been for a limited period before reverting to the greater amount.

Literally got the email 2 days ago and phoned today that is very limited lol

I meant taking up the offer in the email (if it really was a genuine email from Sky) may have resulted in the cheaper price for x number of months before the larger amount being applied.

Did you accept the offer on the email and then get overcharged? or did you call before going ahead with the offer? Half of the time the call centre haven't got a clue about offers on emails/the website etc and will give completely different prices.
