Sky Q Mini Box Stalls When Forwarding & Rewinding

My Sky Q mini boxes often fail to respond to play, pause, fast-forward and rewind commands.

When they do respond, I then struggle to stop them when rewinding and fast-forwarding, and when I try to play or pause, they do nothing.

It has got noticeably worse over time.

I have disconnected the main Q box and restarted it and done the same with the mini's, but to no avail.

One of the mini's is connected to Ethernet and the other by Wi-Fi.

Has anyone else experienced this and know how to rectify?
