Temporary access to TNT Sports

I recently telephoned Sky to get temporary access to TNT Sports so I could watch the French Opn Tennis tournament. I said I wanted it for 2 weeks only and not to be added to my contract. It was added and I was happy to pay the extra fee. However, when I came to cancel after the tournament finished is when the trouble began. I spent over 2 hours on a chat with sky as they said it was part of the contract and I would be charged £60, which I had to pay straight away, to have it taken off. I refused to do that and then thay said I need to pay the £60 and it would then be refunded, this was because of the system requirements. I have now telephoned numerous times and after some weeks my bill is now back to normal.

I want someone to tell me that if I want to have temporary access again to TNT Sports, to tell me what to do, and if it's possible at all. I do not want to go through the same fiasco again.

@alan.pres it is possible but by phone only and you have to be very clear and precise that you only want the 31 day monthly rolling contract nothing else (note 31 days notice required to cancel)

it's also best to make a note of the date and time of the call so that they could listen back to it if you need to challenge them again in the future

Access for just two weeks would never have been possible though.

As @SKY1992bf indicates the minimum would be one month by giving immediate notice to cancel a rolling subscription

What ever you told when you initially equidred for temporary access to TNT sports for just two weeks I don't this possible on Sky Q a monthly rolling contract is the minimum at £30 a month with 31 day notice period you would have in affect give notice to cancel when you asked for it be put onto your subscription to avid paying the extra month hence the £60 you were charged. If only wanted it for that short period itwould have been easier to view it on HBO max app, yes you would still have to pay the £31 monthly charge but having done that and got your subcription you could have canceled it straight away on the app and you would have still had viewing for the rest of the month. By the way you have not said as you only wanted for two weeks, how much did the agent tell you how much that would cost?

They said it would cost £31.00 for the month. I know I would have to pay for a month. that is not a problem.
