The tv picture has a dark band across the top with a thin white line and on the left side, above the line is a symbol and HDM1 Sky Q. Below the line, Stereo 3840x2160p

On the right side, below the line, the time 18.54, the time I turned the tv on.

It's not the Sky box doing that - it's your TV...

Hi @Reg22 Definitely sounds like a TV information display, but upload an image would reveal all.

As the others ays it sounds like the TV's info banner.

Try using your TV's own remote which will have an i or info button

I had similar the odd few times when the Q box would only wake up to a black screen, sounds like the HDMI issue (presuming that is what causes it). Turn it off at the wall for 30 seconds and back on @Reg22
