My main Sky Q box keeps overheating and breaking the signal on the mini sky q devices in the house. This happens everyday. I have had a new Sky q box but it made no difference. The main box is at the front of the TV with ventilation. Sky have not rectified the problem. It has been going on for over 8 months now.

Sky Q boxes are designed to get quite warm. You should be able to rest the palm of your hand down on the top of the box. If you can't you perhaps need to disconnect it for safety reasons and contact Sky.

The boxes are designed to be warm and to be on 24/7. If it's in a well ventilated area and you can't rest the palm of your hand down on the top you might want to speak to Sky about your box and set up.
