As the main box doesnt have a stable connection (due to I suspect a wifi adaptor failing), the Minis cant connect to the main.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My 3rd party broadband is active and stable, 1gig down, with many other devices connected successfully&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;1. Reboot Everything in the Correct Order&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Many people reboot devices, but the order can matter.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Turn off all Sky Q Mini boxes at the mains.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Turn off the main Sky Q box at the mains.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Turn off the router.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. Leave everything off for at least 60 seconds.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5. Switch the router back on and wait until it is fully connected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;6. Switch on the main Sky Q box and wait until live TV is working.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;7. Switch on each Mini box one at a time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;8. Check the Main Sky Q Box&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On the main box:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Home &amp;gt; Settings &amp;gt; Setup &amp;gt; Network&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Make sure it shows:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;* Connected to Broadband&lt;BR /&gt;* Connected to Internet&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If not, perform a Network Reset.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Reset the Mini Box Network Connection&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On each Mini box:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Home &amp;gt; Settings &amp;gt; Setup &amp;gt; Network&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;* Highlight Status&lt;BR /&gt;* Select Reset&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Follow the prompts and reconnect to the main Sky Q box.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. Re-Pair the Mini Box&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the Mini box cannot find the main box:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;* Press the WPS button on the main Sky Q box.&lt;BR /&gt;* Follow the on-screen instructions on the Mini box.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sometimes the broadband interruption causes the Mini box to lose its pairing with the main box.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5. Check for Software Updates&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Several users have reported Mini box connection issues after overnight software updates.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Home &amp;gt; Settings &amp;gt; System Info&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ensure both the main box and Mini boxes are running current software.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;6. If Using Ethernet&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If any boxes are connected via Ethernet:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;* Check cables are securely connected.&lt;BR /&gt;* Try a different cable if possible.&lt;BR /&gt;* Reboot any network switches or powerline adapters.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;7.       <description>&lt;P&gt;The random message this morning about not having an IP Address was new, but didn't see it again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;just went:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Settings&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Network Connection (had a x)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Selected that&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;then followed through the instructions&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;only thing we did differently was when it said press (the 2 arrow button) I pressed the one on the side of the router - literally the only button there. &amp;nbsp;Previously I was pressing the small Reset button on the back of the router&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;we did 1 Mini Box at a time. They all followed the same process. if it doesn't work for you, I suggest you call &lt;FONT size="2" color="#808080"&gt;[Removed]&lt;/FONT&gt; FAR more technical than main number people.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck !&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am also having this problem since yesterday morning.&amp;nbsp; My mini box will not connect the the main box.&amp;nbsp; I have done everything mentioned in this chat ie resetting, checking software update,&amp;nbsp; switching boxes and routers on and off in the correct order and required length of time but the mini box will not connect to the main box.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I do have a third party broadband provider but all devices in the house are connecting to this with no problems.&amp;nbsp; I also have the sky booster box to help with the sky q connections.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I feel I have tried everything now and am slowly going demented.&amp;nbsp; Any help appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The only thing left I can suggest is to try running a cable from your router to the main Q box if that doesn't work then if that doesn't work, you will have to use Sky customer service and tell them, before they start going through their script, that you have done X.Y.Z as per the forum.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;As of last night, we are also encountering the - no internet detected issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Both the main SkyQ box and the SkyQ Mini box do not have internet connection.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We Have switched off the router AND the sky box's, waited a couple minutes, restarted the router and waited for it to boot up and all, then booted up the main skyQ box, same thing router detected, internet is not. I have reset it and still nothing, yet Alexa, computers and other peripheals all detect the internet, ONLY SKYQ does NOT.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Its always giving issues every since they started to move over to internet streaming only. It MUST be the recent update, yes we have had constant issues with this for months but not with the main SKYQ box only the min ones where a simply switch off and reboot fixed the issue (either mini had to be restarted or both main and mini to get them both working again) but this time nothing works to get internet connection with them. VERY ANNOYED&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;There's no doubt that the last software version (it's difficult to call it an update) has caused issues, although if people also have the Sky Max Hub that's possibly just compounding the problems due to it's seemingly weedy wifi performance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would encourage everybody to research their own wifi mesh system (I wouldn't pay Sky for the privilege&amp;nbsp;of renting theirs). Amazon Prime day is coming up but you can already buy a pair of TP-Link extenders for under a £100 and trios for around £130 (they come in various capabilities). Plug one extender in via ethernet cable to the Sky Hub (disable the Sky Hub &amp;amp; possibly Sky Q wifi) and if possible wire the main Q box to it. Plug the other(s) in where suitable (again if possible, hard wire the mini boxes) and enjoy a less stressful life going forward.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
