Broadlink

I have a broadlink rf controller my SkyQ remote used to work but now it only works intermittently I programmed it by pressing buttons 3 and 5 to switch to rf mode the broadlink accepts the code but when it sends out the signal it doesn't work. I was informed by Broadlink it changes it's code but I'm not sure if that's true is there a way of making it work
