Disney plus ‘Free’

Trying to sign up for Disney plus (already have a subscription direct) but Sky are trying to get me to sign up for £4 per month it should be free with a refund on my current direct subscription. Anyone had similar experience?

Is your current Disney+ subscription the £9.99 Standard plan? If so when you transfer to Sky it will move over to the same plan at the discounted price of £4. You can then downgrade to the £0 Standard with Ads option if you like.

That sounds like the standard ad free (which I'm on), it moves you on to the same tier with Sky at £4 but you can downgrade to the free supported by ads tier. It will only change at the end of the paid month though, not immediately.

If you were paying monthly directly with Disney you won't be getting a refund from them though, it merely pauses the subscription. If you leave Sky it will then resume at the same point as you left.
