An extender is my next port of call as i only changed it yesterday but am sure the original installer said it was possible to connect across the mains and some posts seem to suggest this.

I have recently had to move my Sky Router next to my SKY Q main box. A SKY Q Mini in another room has a bad wifi signal now. I was told when SKY Q installed that it could also AUTOMATICALLY connect via the power lines if the signal was bad. This doesnt appear to happen automatically. I have seen a post that says you have to disable the the wifi on the main SKY Q box, but the instructions didnt seem to work. How can I set up the boxes so that they communicate via mains cables instead of Wifi?
