Yes. Very likely was beforehand.

So I'm best going back to fish and swapping g at source? Or can I do it an alternative way

thanks

@Nig+c wrote:

I have sky q and I have a quad lnb.

there were 2 short cables coming from the lnb that previous cables were plugged into. So I connected some new cables to that an ran them to a new location but when I connect to the sky 2tb I get no signal.

What have I done wrong? Do I need to go into service menu and change any settings?

hi @Nig+c

If 2 outputs were connected and working with SKY Q then it will be a Hybrid LNB not what is normally called a Quad LNB (Quad LNBs typically have 4 'universal' outputs none of which work with SKY Q)

As @PandJ2020 indicates with a Hybrid LNB only one set of outputs, output the wideband signals that SKY Q needs - the other set being 'universal' outputs as used by SKY HD, Freesat TVs, & older Freesat boxes

Thus you cannot just move the box without changing the connections over at the LNB
