Failed No Sub -cancel contract?

I moved house and since then I get a 'failed no subscription' for downloading. I've had 2 engineers attend my home and yesterday they gave me a new box but still I have the same problem. I've decided that I'd like to leave. My question is, can I cancel my contract on the basis the services is not there? I'd prefer not to have responses to this query recommending how to fix as I've tried all options. Thank you
