&lt;P&gt;Yes: a main Q box cannot operate without 'wires'.&amp;nbsp; As a minimum it needs a power lead (which might have an external transformer block), a satellite dish feed (usually twin, sometimes single) and an HDMI cable for output to the television set: it may also have an ethernet connection for broadband access, and possibly optical audio out.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The closest thing to Sky television access without wires is either the Glass television set or a smart TV running the Now app with a subscription for that service: these would only need a power supply feed.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
