Probably, yes. Sky will still swap out problematic Q boxes, although they'll probably try and convince you to switch to Stream first.

Regular faults with SkyQ

I'm getting two regular faults with the SkyQ box.
One is when switching on it says to insert viewing card, even though it is inserted. Taking the card out and putting it back doesn't change the message. The only solution is to power down and restart the Q box. This clears the message briefly, until the next time the box is switched on. The card is paired and I've done a few callbacks, but the problem persists.
The other problem is when trying to set a recording or to record a current channel. A message appears saying this program (or this channel) cannot be record. This was an intermittent fault but is now almost daily. The only cure I have found is to power down the box and restart.
Both of these issues are happening almost daily now!
Can anyone help with these issues please?
To me, this seems hardware related rather than software, but if someone has any ideas I'm happy to try them.
Thank you.
