How do I go about getting a new sky q remote the non voice one please? As mine ha totally broken apart??? TIA

Hi @Brace76 I'm afraid that the non voice remotes can only be found in museums or on eBay. If you want a new free remote, then follow these help pages that should lead you to a request new remote form. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/fix-q-remote-problems

@Laing1 I can't get on with the touch controls and find the non voice one easier 🤦‍♀️. I may have to use the voice one and try and get on with the touch control if I can't replace the one I use.

The voice remotes don't have touch controls, you may be thinking of the old touch remote as shown on this page https://www.sky.com/help/articles/setting-up-q-remote but those are no longer available. All Sky Q remotes are now just standard button remotes.

Hi @Brace76

The Touch remotes disappeared about 7 years ago! I would use the link I provided to get a new remote, you then have the choice to use voice or not.

Does anybody know how to actually successfully order a new/ replacement remote please? Tried to order one a few weeks back, received a confirmation text, then next day had another message saying the order could not be processed! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If you follow this link it should allow you to do some troubleshooting and then it’ll send you to a form to request a replacement (I’m not sure if this is available to customers in the Republic of Ireland).

It may be quicker to purchase a new remote from a retailer / larger supermarket.

Many thanks Daniel, I was actually able to order one in the end, and came within two days!
Can only guess they didn't have any available when I first requested one..

Just need them to send someone to fix the rest of the issues we are having now! 😄
