TNT Sports App for the Australian Open

I subscribed to TNT sports via yesterday as I thought I could watch the Australian open tennis as advertised. I spent 2 hours on livechat to Sky earlier only to be told I cannot watch live matches via discovery plus unless I pay for premium access , I then thought I could record the matches due to time difference so could watch in my own time , but no it appears not ! So all I can access are highlights of previous matches played on TNT or stay up through the night to watch ....

Why don't they make all this clear on the Sky page before you part with your money or am I missing something somewhere ?

Not a happy Sky customer right now and will be cancelling TNT tomorrow and maybe my whole package !

@gaylyons subscribing to TNT sports through Sky should upgrade your Discovery+ access to premium.

It did when I had TNT sports for the Autumn rugby internationals, you should also be able to record the TNT sports channels from your Sky box. So not sure why you are having problems recording them. Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions to see if that allows you to record the channels

@gaylyons I'd definately be contacting Sky as I said you should get upgraded to premium on the discovery+ app and should be able to record the TNT channels through you Sky Q box as lon as you subscribed through Sky

I had the same problem but managed to solve it by subscribing to Discovery Entertainment.

You need to go to your subscription package and also subscribe to Discovery Entertainment.

Have you tried logging out of discovery plus which should give you a screen with a QR code using that code on your phone ar tablets camera which give you a log in page put in your Sky id log in details and you tv screen to give you discovery plus again and if you subscribed to TNT sport as part of Sky package stop now get them in discovery plus other wise you will need to contact Sky to find out why you not getting it

TNT1 PULLED THE SEMIFINAL A HALF HOUR AGO AND PUT IT ON ANOTHER CHANNEL GOD KNOWS WHERE AND SKY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'VE DONE. IN THE FOURTH BLOODY SET AT 4-4!!!!! I'M PAYING FOR THIS!!!!!!

Thanks very much for your assistance. I LIVE ON A HILL IN RURAL IRELAND AND CANNOT CONTROL THE RECEPTION AND CANNOT TUNE IN TO 412 DUE TO WEATHER NOT OF MY OWN MAKING AND INCORRECTLY FORECAST AND TNT1 PULLED A MATCH MIDWAY IN THE FOURTH SET.
