Hi, I get exactly the same.

I am running a Sky Q 2tb box on my new Sony Bravia 8 OLED TV.

The problem randomly happens but sounds exactly the same as the issue you have.

The only way to correct is to reboot the SKY Box.

If I try my Blu-ray player or inbuilt TV tuner, the problem isn't evident , indicating it's an issue with the Sky Box or an incompatibility issue.

The other issue I get is occasionally the Sky box won't output any picture at all through its HDMI input.

I have tried changing channels, flicking through the inputs etc.

Again, inbuilt tv tuner is fine and so are pictures from the Blu-ray player.

If I reboot the TV, it sorts the issue.

These issues don't happen every time I watch SKY on the Sony TV , just occasionally .

I have SKY mini boxes and none of these issues show on those boxes or TVs connected to them.

I have spoken to SKY and they have no idea what's causing the problems.

I've been suffering from frequent brief video glitches on all channels for several weeks - no artifacts, just dropped frames causing the video to jump for a moment every couple of minutes on Sky content only - it doesn't happen when viewing Netflix etc via the TV. Sometimes accompanied by an audio dropout. Any ideas? This is on a hard-wired system running on a gigbit fibre network and the behaviour persists through reboots and HDMI cable swapping. Satellite signal is very strong. Sky Q box was replaced approx 6 months ago when engineer also checked wires to the dish. I have constant 930Mbps up and down.

Your Download speeds are irrelevant to Q as it needs nothing like this to achieve reliable download and streaming.

When you turned off the Q WiFi was this done immediately after a Network reset on each individual Q box. (Without using WPS)?

The feed on any Sky channels used to freeze then attempt to catch up with it causing Hobbits to run faster than Usain Bolt, never had the same with any Samsung TV's.

The solution was to adjust the motion settings within the TV

You can use Phil Hintons, from the excellent AVForum, picture settings here https://youtu.be/K27LomsyyZ0 they are for the G2 but can be used also for the C2 as well.
