&lt;P&gt;Unlikely to be related to renewal.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After checking the basics, ie; fresh batteries, re-pairing etc if your Sky Q remote is definitely &lt;STRONG&gt;broken or faulty, &lt;/STRONG&gt;if you follow this link it should allow you to do some more troubleshooting and then it’ll send you to a form to request a replacement (I’m not sure if this is available to customers in the Republic of Ireland). &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.sky.com/help/articles/lost-stolen-damaged-sky-q-equipment#get-in-touch" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.sky.com/help/articles/lost-stolen-damaged-sky-q-equipment#get-in-touch&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It may be quicker to purchase a new remote from a retailer / larger supermarket. If you do that as well as the above you’ll have a spare.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The issue also may be because you've ordered two. It's very unlikely two remotes have become faulty at the same time.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In the meantime if you have an android or Apple device with Sky Go you can possibly set up a virtual remote to control your Sky Q box.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Yestaday Called up 2hr 4 people later to renew contract after 18 years subscription with them I needed new controls for normal box n multi room box&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;finally sorted and being sent only to cancel the order today&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;typical get u to sign and then pull out there part of the deal disgusting!&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;may cancel whole lot and go elsewhere&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;this is what u get after being a loyal paying customer for nearly 2 decades&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes they ordered and was on my app orders on my sky app to receive a message following day to say cancelled&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I believe it was done so I would renew contract then backed out of there side of it following day&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;anything to get u to sign up&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
