Im being told there is no satellite service and now can't access the Apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. This happened a few days ago and all was working fine before. It's not a building / weather issue. What can I do?

hi @JamesEllis

It is possible that the dish has moved or possibly a problem with the cabling.

The box requires a periodic 'keep alive' signal which is sent via Satellite, so it is likely this was due, thus causing the ability to use the apps.

Please see the following page that covers a few problems - if you follow the link through and still have problems then you should find a link to book an engineer if you have your own dish

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q

If you have a communal system you may have to contact your building management to deal with the technicians responsible for the system
