Connection after renewing sky after rejoining

I cancelled my subscription about 3 weeks & lost access Friday. I decided this was a mistake so rang yesterday and arranged for a new subscription. The guy said I would have access after a few hours but havent. I'm aware of the problems and done the on/off but still getting the 'update your subscription' to watch. Any ideas? Thanks Alison.

Are you a Sky+ box customer or do you have Sky Q, Glass or Stream or are you talking about Sky Broadband ?

Sorry I lost your connection and tried to see if I could connet. But still no. I have a sky Q box. I have changed my broadband during the cancellation period so this will be different to when I was originally connected. However, I have updated the settings and put my new boradband details in and it looks like this has been accepted. Have turned router off/on. Still no connection. Technology was my ex's area so I havent a clue what I am doing. Please help. Alison
