I subscribe to BT Sports an get all the TNT channels. I can log in to Discovery + but when I try to watch TNT 5 it says I need to upgrade. I can't find an online solution and it's a 40 minute wait to speak to a human. Anyone advise please?

@Rogbad What happens when you press the red button on your sky box when watching tnt sports 1 can you access it that way?

What is actually on TNT Sports 5?

I'm going through Discovery+ and they seem to have got rid of all the channel numbers!

Who do you pay for access to Discovery+ and Sports, Sky or BT/EE?

@stereohaven It's one of the four fa cup ties currently playing whilst Macclesfield is on tnt sports 1 the other three are on discovery plus or using the red button on the remote

What I mean is, I've been watching Everton v. Sunderland via the app, nothing says which channel it is on, even the DOG just says "TNT Sports", so it was hard for me too troubleshoot "TNT Sports 5" if I can't work out what it supposed to be on it. 😁

Had to fire up the EE TV app to work out Everton v. Sunderland is indeed on TNT Sports 5.

I can access Discovery + on the red button but it says I need to upgrade to watch the channels even though my Sky account confirms I'm a subscriber.

Or you can watch via the Discovery+ app on Sky or any other device., it just doesn't tell you easily what is on TNT Sports 5.

It's extra time so still time to login and watch.

No, with the red button on each channel it says I need to upgrade. I can get al the other TNT channels., 410>. Surely there isn't a separate subscription for the red button channels?

It isn't (as far as I know and in the UK are caveats), and if you are paying Sky to access TNT Sports then I would recommend starting a chat online (save hanging on the phone), for them to look into it as we are also customers.

It says he gets it through BT (well, BT Sports hasn't existed for 2.5 years so I assume he means TNT Sports), not Sky

assume you're logged into Discovery+ using the same account that BT / TNT know about?

I dont think he does, even though he mentions BT Sport at one point, he says:

I assume I am as I can get all the other regular TNT and Discovery + channels. Just the red button channels, TNT5> which it says I need to upgrade.

Just confirm who you pay for access, BT/EE or Sky? Is it on your Sky bill? If so, follow the journey I added earlier.

I pay BT.......just logged into to BT account where it says "activate" Discovery +. But nothing happens when I click it and I can get Discovery + on Sky anyway. So frustrating sometimes! Thanks to all for trying to help.

If you are getting discovery+ on Sky you may be getting it as part of your Sky package which in your case you get TNT sports though bt is just the basic discovery+ , which dose not include live sport. What you need to do is log out of discovery + and then log in with your login details for you BT account for tnt sports that will then give you access to TNT channels though the discovery +app including the extra ones that are not on Sky tv guide.As you pay bt for TNT sport I am not sure if red button will work though this only takes you to the discovery+ app any way so it might work

If you had answered that clearly when I asked you specifically in post 3, we would have solved this by now...😞
