Apple TV not loading on Q box

Apple TV will not start. I have updated the Q box software, cold booted and tried starting an Apple TV programme from the Sky Home menu as recommended elsewhere, but nothing works. The screen just sticks on the black launch screen with the Apple TV logo.

Apply TV is working fine on my iPhone, and other Apps are also loading fine on the Q box.

Try refreshing your apps;

Press Home on your Sky Q remote, then highlight Settings
Press 0,0,1 and Select to access the Installer menu
Select Apps then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box. You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'.
Press Dismiss to return to normal viewing.

The refresh can take 24 hours to complete.

I cannot get to this menu. I highlight settings (but don't press select). Press the numbers as directed but nothing - any advice ?
