    <description>&lt;P&gt;Raised another complaint last week.&amp;nbsp; Told they could "reset" my sky system to reactivate discovery.&amp;nbsp; Guess what......Passed to a back office function again for about the 10th time!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So I just emailed the CEO to see what her team can do and if that is also a nothing then its a complaint ot CISAS(OFCOM)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;"Dear Dana,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I have taken the step of emailing your office direct as I am unable to get any satisfactory assistance with an issue I have had for about 2 years now since I swapped from Sky Q to Sky Glass.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Now Sky Glass over all is very good and I am more than satisfied with it.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;My issue is that when I moved over as part of my deal I was to get Discovery Plus free with the TV package I subscribed to.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I went through all the steps required on the Market place to get Discovery, Paramount and Disney with no issues.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Then about 1 to 2 months later Discovery plus stopped working and I received a screen message saying "upgrade to watch".&amp;nbsp; I contacted Sky about this but they were unable to help.&amp;nbsp; I then contacted Discovery plus direct but they were unable to help as it is a Sky issue.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Now for the first 2 months Discovery plus worked then for the last 2 years it hasn't.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I have had numerous phone calls and online discussions with sky support staff and no resolution to the problem.&amp;nbsp; I have raised I think 3 complaints about this and some of them have been closed without even speaking to me.&amp;nbsp; I have asked to be emailed as I can't always answer the phone to discuss this when working but sky kept calling and leaving messages.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Every time I call back I would have to go through ALL the same conversations again and again.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Last week I again raised another complaint and on an online chat I was told I needed to make sure the email address I used with discovery plus from sky was not on the discovery system, it isn't I had discovery delete all my details.&amp;nbsp; Then I was told after this Sky would reset my system and I would be able to re activate discover plus.&amp;nbsp; Well this morning while online to sky again trying to get this done it can't happen.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I was told ONCE AGAIN it would be passed to a back off support team to look into.&amp;nbsp; Now this passing back to a support team has happened for 2 years with absolutely no results.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;All I want is to get the discovery app for free like I was told when I signed up to sky.&amp;nbsp; And just so you know I was told by one of your staff that Discovery plus is free so it doesn't matter if I get it or not.&amp;nbsp; I think that is false advertising.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I would appreciate you looking into this matter.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Further for your information there are thousands of people with this same issue in the UK.&amp;nbsp; It is a major thread in the Sky community groups.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Best Regards"&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <title>Unable to activate Discovery Plus</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi everyone&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to sign up for my included Discovery Plus subscription for the first time and cannot activate it&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've opened the app on the Sky Q box and followed the process to start my Discovery Plus subscription.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I then received an email from Sky confirming my Sky Marketplace subscription.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I then scanned the QR code on the TV, which leads to &lt;A href="https://sky.com/discoveryplus-activate" target="_blank"&gt;https://sky.com/discoveryplus-activate&lt;/A&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;At this stage I'm asked to log into my Sky account on my browser (whether or not I'm already logged in on another tab).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I get as far as putting in my password and clicking 'Sign In' before I'm met with the spinning wheel of doom and eventually the connection times out.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My account on My Sky shows Discovery Plus as awaiting activation, but I can't get any further than that.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Im having very similar problem.&amp;nbsp; Finall spoke to someone but after a couple of hours going round in circles he gave up and escalated the problem to someone else.&amp;nbsp; He did say there were no known issues or other people with this problem; clearly he was wrong.&amp;nbsp; Hopefully it will get sorted.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well today I got sky stream with discovery plus and Netflix. All went well until doing discovery plus. Same issue as everyone else. Started setting it all up at 12.30 today and finished being sent from one person to another until I admitted defeat at 6.45pm as I couldnt take anymore. Being told issue was with discovery plus, rang them to hear issue was with Sky as it wasn't showing on their system so not processed, to go back to sky to be told we maybe did it wrong and to wait until tomorrow to see if it fixes itself.&amp;nbsp; GIVE ME A BREAK!!! Absolutely raging now reading all these posts to find out there is a major problem with their system and we are all being sold a product they cant fully deliver and are pretending it's a one off issue with each I dividual person. Absolute disgrace!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
