topic EE broadband upgrade in Sky Q

I recently had my broadvband upgraded by EE to full fibre.

Since then my SkyQ box will not hold onto my internet connection.

I can connect to the inrternet but within a few minutes the internet connection is lost (only 3 ticks in settings) otherwise everything else seems to be working fine.

Any ideas from forum subscribers?

Usually drops off if being steered to 5GHz. (Or connecting wirelessly to some mesh nodes)

Ensure the router does not steer connections. Also, best setup is to have split SSID's (2.4GHz and 5GHz) as Sky will only connect to the 2.4Ghz band.
